Devin and I officially met in 2015 on my 21st birthday - shoutout to my cousin and his wife for making that happen! His wife took it upon her matchmaking self to convince Devin to come out that night and to convince me he was a really great guy. He bought me a shot and that was that!

Months later she was persistent with Devin at a casual house gathering to reach out and text me. From there - we were good friends for 4 years (because apparently, we're experts at playing it cool), until Abbie stopped playing hard to get. In June of 2019, we officially started dating, and the rest is history!

Our first date? Well, let's just say it was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Devin took me to a restaurant I didn't like, but I was too scared to speak up. To make it even more awkward, his roommate was the server - and he basically spent the entire meal chatting with Devin while I sat there quietly eating my cup of soup. Not exactly the romantic vibe, but it obviously wasn't too awful - haha!

Who knew that one drink, a shitty first date, and a little family persuasion would lead to this fun adventure and amazing family we've already begun building?! We're so excited to celebrate whatever comes next with all of you!
